We’ve helped to host many weddings at Barrenjoey over the years and they have all been quite varied in nature and numbers. It’s such a gorgeous environment for a special occasion!
Currently, our guests have the opportunity to use and decorate the property as they wish, along with their own catering and drinks, entertainment etc. We don’t have any packages on offer regarding food and drink options, however guests are welcome to bring along their own catering and drinks, or other catering such as food trucks.
When any type of function is booked at Barrenjoey, we hire out the entire property which includes all beds available at the house and cottage (up to 6 adults). We supply all linen, towels and guest amenities. We have a minimum 2-night booking fee. There is also a fully refundable bond payable which is 10% of the quoted tariff.
Prices start at $4,000. Cost covers full, exclusive use of the property for 2 days and nights and includes a function for up to 50 guests.
We don’t set a maximum nights’ stay for hiring the property, so guests are welcome to book Barrenjoey for more than two nights. Each extra night that is booked beyond the minimum two nights will attract a higher tariff. We also have plenty of room for campers or extra guests (extra costs would apply). Curfews apply to any type of function.
We are also happy for pets to stay at Barrenjoey, so you’re welcome to bring dogs along.
In October 2019 we had a beautiful 4×4 heritage wedding gazebo installed, after many months of planning, preparation and construction. It’s the perfect place for a ceremony or to just sit, relax and enjoy the panoramic views. The large, flat grassy area nearby is a perfect place to set up a large marquee.
Around the house has quite vast outdoor areas with beautiful views. There are also very pretty areas around the gardens for a ceremony, and we have acres of forest if you are interested in a bush type setting.
